- When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us. Helen Keller
- Happiness is not achieved by the conscious pursuit of happiness; it is generally the by-product of other activities. Aldous Huxley
- There is only one person who could ever make you happy, and that person is you. David Burns, Intimate Connections
- The happiness of life is made up of minute fractions—the little soon-forgotten charities of a kiss, a smile, a kind look, a heartfelt compliment in the disguise of a playful raillery, and the countless other infinitessimals of pleasurable thought and genial feeling. Samuel Taylor Coleridge
- Happiness is not having what you want, it's wanting what you have.
I just needed a little pick me up and these helped a little so I thought I would share them with you.

Made My Day
Kelly and Family
Christi and husband Mike
Amy and her familySo, I totall adore my older (half) brother and sisters. Christi lives in Utah and I don't get to see her very much anymore but wish I did. Amy just lives down the road here in Eagle and we are really close and my parents always tell me how much my personality is like hers (which is a total compliment since I adore her!). Mike lives down the road in Nampa but works all the time, he is pretty quiet but I think thats just because us girls are so loud, he's hilarous whenever you get a chance to talk to him, he was really supportive and sweet when I was going through a rough time and always has tickets to the gun show. Kelly is the closest in age to me of my older siblings, she's seven years older than me and definelty the most easy going out of all of us.
For as long as I can remember I have looked up to my big brothers and sisters and just idolized them, and even as I'm grown up a part of me still does that. I've always wanted to be best friends with all of them and hang out all the time and just call and chat with them. They were so much older than me growing up that I saw them ocasionally but I always wanted to see them more. I guess unless you have older brothers and sisters you can't really understand how much you look up to them and the way you look at them. Even though they are my half brothers and sisters, we have the same dad, there was never a difference to me, they are my siblings.
Anyway, I have hardly seem any of them this past year, we are all really busy with kids and work and everything. I have really missed them and felt a little sad I haven't gotten to hang out with them much this year. And I've been a little sensitive lately, sometimes I feel like they just see me as an annoying little sister and don't want to be friends with me. So when they reach out to me it means so much to me. Yesterday Kelly sent me this really sweet email and it toally made my day!
sara- Not that I would be of much help, but can we help you out in any way with your move? Have you moved yet or are you moving soon? Let me know. Maybe we all could meet for lunch sometime. love ya, Kelly
Kelly's pregnant too, hence the not much help part, she's due the end of October and is having a boy also. I should probably wrap this up, so my whole little lesson I decided I was supposed to learn, or at least needed reminded of was to follow your heart and not worry about what the other person might be thinking or feeling, to just love them, despite what they do or don't do so you can be at peace with yourself. I don't know that it is coming out right but hopefully that makes a little sense. I hope you all have a fabulous Friday.
Much Love-Sara

Tag Your It
Joys
- Addison- Only a mother can truly understand how your child can literally light you up and make the whole world feel like sunshine and butterflies. The joy she brings me is so much more than I ever could have imagined. Every little thing about her, the way she smells after a bath, the way she walks up to me and squeezes me so tight like she won't ever let go, the way she giggles, and oh those facial expressions, the way she is learning to talk and says uh-oh all the time. She is my sunshine!
- Being with my husband- Kevin is my other half. We have such a passionate relationship. I love being out with him, on dates, running errands, driving in the car, lazy Sundays where our little family spends the whole day in bed. The way he can make me feel, and the things he does for me I cherish. I am so grateful for each moment I get with him since our lives our so busy and he works such insane hours, especially during the summer.
- Girlyness- yep, that really is a word- Starbucks, loud chick music blaring in your ears as you drive doing sixty in your fast black car, pedicures, wine tasting, girl nights, shopping, fashion, talk, talk talk, getting dolled up, high heels, all the glory and fun us girls get to have.
- A day where I am all by myself and can do what ever I what whenever I want. These days are very few and far in between since I've had Addi. Its so fun to play hookie though.
- My family- my mom, my sisters, my dad, I have such an amazing family and such a different type of relationship with each person I have so much fun with them all.

- I'm already excited for my birthday that is over a month away-Sept 27th!
- And excited for my baby shower which isn't even planned yet, my last one was literally pregnant and the only real time I can guilt all my CBX friends into coming out to see me.
Ok, so I really didn't mean all that to come off quit so cliche but its whats in my heart. Ok, I tag Kristen L, Kat S, Lori, Amy, Christi, Kelly.
I try to keep my blog honest and talk about it all. I have a few personal goals I'm working on right now. Not complaing! (lol-aren't I doing good) And focusing on the positive! So here are some of the positives! Two weekends ago I went up with my entire family to McCall for my Grandma's birthday. Its always a family tradition to make that our yearly family trip and I always love the time with my family and Grandma. I have such a great Grandma, she is so young at heart and fun to be with. As I'm older I feel like I can really appreciate her as a friend and a person not just my grandma. We rented a pontoon boat all day Saturday and it was so fun. Addison loved it! She insisted on being at the front of the boat like she was on the titanic. She did so good all day and I was so proud of her, she even took al ittle nap on the boat. We had a great time.
I feel the baby kick all the time now and I love it! It is so fun and makes my heart jump everytime. We are still trying to come up with a name. My girlfriend picked up a great crib for me at a yard sale for $35! It is from a ritzy neighborhood in east Boise, its natural wood and came from Babies 'R' Us. I haven't seen it yet but I'm sure I'll like it. I'm still on the hunt for a great deal on bedding. And I'm hoping that someone will throw me a baby shower and I'll get everything else then. Its ok to have a second baby shower cause this ones a boy right? Anyway, I have so much else I need to do so I best be going but I wanted to say hi and send lots of love to you all! Seriously I love you all!
XOXO -Sara
