Addison has always made the funniest faces, she is so expressive with her face. In this picture she is blowing spit bubbles, one of her favorite things to do. I think we are making progress with the sleeping project. Last night Addi went to bed at 8:15, only woke up twice during the night, and didn't get up until 8:00 this morning! What a beautiful night! I woke up feeling so happy and refreshed, love to start the day of on a good note. Last night Addi and I also went to Albertsons, I had to mention this because they are having such a big sale on some of their stuff. Some of it is 20/$10.oo! And they even had baby food on sale, wipes on clearance and lots of other great prices; normally I'm not an Albertsons girl but they had good prices. I love it when I am a savvy shopper. Oh shopping, I miss it so much! Looking back I can't believe how much I used to shop (those of you who used to work with me at CBX now what I'm talking about -only Kat could put me to shame, luv you Kat!). Anyway, I still have a little ways to go to get where I want my body to be, I have started doing crunches every night with Kevin and counting calories, then after that Express here I come! Anyway, I don't really have a lot to say today just in one of my moods where I just want to talk. Haha, I'm a little bit o.o.c. (out of control) , its amazing what a little sleep can do for a girl. Well I guess I will go for the day leaving you with a 'heeaaaayyy'! (Girls I miss all those Chatterboxism, oh good times)

An Inspirational Thought

I found this paragraph on a friend of a friend's blog and thought it was so inspirational. She was talking about this in reference to being a mother. It was a little reminder to me that I have always wanted to be a mother and it is the most important thing to me and I should build my life around being a mother and the rest of the pieces in my life will fall into place around that.

"Just because we don't know what we want to do with our lives doesn't mean we don't know who we want to become. Some of you may think you know what you want to do but maybe it doesn't fall in "the plan"! For others maybe you knew all along and that is who you became. For me I always went back and forth with what I wanted to do but never wavered on what I wanted to become.Try working on what you want to become first and then what you should do will just fall into place."

A special quote and a huge hug for my mom: "My mom is a never ending song in my heart of comfort, happiness, and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I always remember the tune." ~Graycie Harmon

Here's to you sis!

Above: Whitni, Becca & I Downtown for Becca's 21st Birthday!
This weekend I got to celebrate with my little sister, Becca, for her 21st birthday. Becca and I are eighteen months apart and I can't even begin to tell you how close we are! We have been through everything together, even being pregnant and having our babies together, Addi & Connor are only three months apart. You just have to love Rebecca because she is sweet and feisty at the same time, hard working, and the cutest mom ever! She is always clowning around with Connor to get him to laugh, she reads to him all the time (he is such a smart baby!) and you can just tell how much she loves him. Becca can be friends with just about anyone, she is really smart and so hot! I just can't say enough good things about her! She is currently in Las Vegas, with her boyfriend Chris, who has been planning this trip for like a year to take her for her 21st. They are so cute as a couple you kind of want to gag... just kidding I am absolutely thrilled she has found someone that is so good to her cause she deserves it. Becca has always stood by my side ~ no matter what! I love that we aren't just sisters, we are best friends too, we always have so much fun together no matter what we are doing. So here's to you sis..thank you for all your love and friendship over the years, I thank Heaven above daily for your presence in my life.
Love,
Sara

Sleeping Update

Well, last night started off good...

Addi and I got home at about 6:30; Kevin had the night off (a rare occasion) and he made me dinner and we ate as a family. By 7:30 I could tell Addi was just plain tired so I decided I would put her to bed a little earlier than usual. So we go upstairs and have a story and a bottle and rock in her rocking chair and by 8:00 she was in her crib and asleep. I was so proud of her and me and so excited to have a few hours alone with Kevin. Then at 9:45 she woke up a little so I went in and soothed her a little and went back to bed. However she still proceeded to wake up at 12:00; 3:45; and 5:30 this morning! That is like as much as she used to wake up when she was an infant! I was so tired and had to be up early this morning at 6:30. I am trying hard not to be frustrated cause I know she is just having seperation anxiety and I let her get in this habit. So hopefully with a little more patience and work it will be better by the end of the week. Here's to keeping my chin up. Thanks for the support!

Love,
A tired, yet happy Sara
